The Board of Directors of CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management Sdn. Bhd. (“Board”), the Manager of CLMT (“Manager”), wishes to announce that upon recommendation by the Manager, MTrustee Berhad, as Trustee for CLMT has on 22 August 2024, approved the appointment of Messrs Deloitte PLT (“Deloitte”) as Auditors of CLMT for the financial year ending 31 December 2024 in place of Messrs KPMG PLT (“KPMG”) in accordance with the provisions of the Trust Deed dated 7 June 2010 (as amended and restated by a deed dated 13 July 2021) and the Guidelines on Listed Real Estate Investment Trusts issued by Securities Commission Malaysia.

As KPMG has served as the auditors of CLMT since its listing in 2010, the Board is of the opinion that CLMT’s Auditors should be considered for rotation for the purpose of good corporate governance practice and such rotation will bring new perspectives of independence to CLMT. The Board is not aware of any other matters that need to be brought to the attention of the unitholders of CLMT.

Deloitte has also consented to act as Auditors of CLMT in place of KPMG.
